As a prelude to our Ringin' New Year's Eve party at the District Architecture Center (grab your tickets before it's too late!), members of the Washington Ringing Society will attempt a quarter peal on the Bells of Congress this New Year's Eve.
Lasting approximately 50 minutes, the ringing will begin at 5:15pm and can be heard from the surrounding avenues and open spaces.
Want even more bells? Head to Washington National Cathedral on New Year's Day as the ringers attempt a full peal from the Gloria In Excelsis Deo tower.
