New Year's Day
Jan. 1, 2024 | 7:00-9:00pm (Eastern)
By Invitation Only
The National Bell Festival is pleased to acknowledge leaders in artistry, performance, community building, foundry science, historical research, record keeping, and philanthropy – and those who work tirelessly to keep bells resounding for generations to come – at the inaugural Order of St. Dunstan Honors.
The Order of St. Dunstan is an honor presented to individuals who have made exemplary contributions to the field of campanology, the study of bells. The Order recognizes men and women of distinction who have rendered uncommon service to bell heritage, bell making, bell ringing, or bell appreciation.
During the reception, recipients of the honor will be announced and decorated with the insignia of the Order: a collar with a cast-bronze badge appendant in the style of a bat in repose over the sound bow of a bell. Biographies of the recipients will be made available following the event.
Note: This year's Honors are by invitation only. To keep informed of future Order of St. Dunstan news and events, follow along on our social channels, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. You might also find these links of interest:
